Duration	:	4 years (8 semesters) fully residential course

Qualification	:	Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Marine with 55% marks in final year or passed first year of engineering degree from Mechanical/Electrical stream with 60% marks from the college recognized by AICTE.

(or) b) First Class Motor or Steam or Combined (Chief Engineer) Certificate of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping,Government of India or its counterparts in other countries.
