| Admission Procedures, How to apply and Terms & Conditions |

Interested candidates has to purchase the Application Form and Brochure through post or personally by paying Rs.500/- |
 |
The candidate should submit the Application Form along with all enclosures within 15 days. |
 |
After scrutinizing the Application, the institution will instruct the candidate to undergo DGS approved Medical Test. The Medical Test will cost Rs.1,000/- |
 |
Once the candidate found medically fit, then the institution will inform the candidate for preliminary tests and admission. |
 |
For doing the initial admission the candidate has to pay Rs.50,000/-. |
 |
Further payment instructions will be given to the candidate by the institution at the time of admission. |
 |
Incase, if the candidate has booked the admission by paying Rs.50,000/- and if he found ineligible, by producing his original certificates, he can collect the entire fees paid for his admission. |
 |
The course fees will not be refunded under any other circumstances. |
 |
It is the responsibility of the candidate to furnish full details and correct information in the Application Form. Any admission made on the basis of wrong information given by the candidate or due to any oversight error of the admission cell, which is deducted after the admission, the management reserves the right to cancel the admission at the cost and risk of the candidate. |

The candidate whose admission will not be in the interest of DG Shipping / University, the management reserves the right to cancel the admission of the candidate irrespective of the fact that he / she fulfills all the academic requirement of the course. The decision of the management shall be final and legally binding the candidates. |

Work commenced to construct a 5 storeyed Ship in - Campus building with the state of the art facilities.
The ongoing project consists of:
Ground Floor: (Completed)
More than 8000 sq. ft. of area consist of Admin Office, Conference Room, Digital Library, Main Engine Room having of 2100 BHP Engine with full operational condition and allied AUX Machinery including Electrical Generator AUX Boiler & systems.
First Floor: (Completed)
More than 10,000 sq. ft. comprises of class rooms with individual personal computer connected by main server.
Second Floor and Third Floor:
More than 20,000 sq. ft. comprises of class rooms with individual personal computer connected by main server.
Fourth Floor:
More than 9500sq.ft. consist of fully air conditioned auditorium equipped with LCD Projector, Electronic Smart Board and Multimedia facilities.
A full mission manoeuvring (Bridge) and Engine Room simulator. These two full mission simulator replicate all machinery / equipment in the bridge and engine room of any modern vessel and will be interconnected to recreate a complete and realistic ship environment.
Campus Automation:
A campus automation system connecting all the department with in the campus is being planned to facilitate inter departmental interaction and faster response to students needs, aiming for paperless administration.
